Making dreams come true...

 

As a child, I dreamed about becoming a writer and, one day, seeing my books published - out there for the world to read.

My dream came true in 2020 when my first book was published. It was just as exciting as I had imagined. Seeing my words in print and knowing that complete strangers were reading them was thrilling.

Following the success of the 2024 competition, I'm excited to repeat the opportunity for more children to live that dream. I am offering the chance for some lucky (and talented) children to have their short stories published in a real paperback book - available on Amazon and also in Kindle version. Do you know a child who would like to enter?

Rules

• Open to children aged 8-13

• Write a short story with a theme of 'Courage' in up to 500 words (see tips on the poster)

• Edit and improve

• Send the story to carolineboxall@hotmail.co.uk by 1st May 2025

• Sign up to my website here where the winners will be announced in June 2025​.
