Making dreams come true...

 

As a child, I dreamed about becoming a writer and, one day, seeing my books published - out there for the world to read.

My dream came true in 2020 when my first book was published. It was just as exciting as I had imagined. Seeing my words in print and knowing that complete strangers were reading them was thrilling.

​

Following the success of the 2024 and 2025 competitions, I'm excited to repeat the opportunity for more children to live that dream. I am offering the chance for some lucky (and talented) children to have their short stories published in a real paperback book - available on Amazon and also in Kindle version. Rules

• Open to children aged 8-14

• Write a short story with a theme of 'Truth' in up to 500 words (see tips on the poster)

• Edit and improve

• Send the story to carolineboxall@hotmail.co.uk by 31st May 2026

• Sign up to my website here where the winners will be announced in June 2026​.
