🌟 Creative Writing Competition Now Open! 🌟
Recently, I’ve been wondering—do we still make enough time for stories?
As a teacher, I get it. The school day flies by, the curriculum is packed, and creative writing can end up being squeezed out. But stories matter. They always have. They teach empathy, build confidence, boost imagination, and give young voices a powerful way to be heard.
Last year, I ran a creative writing competition for children aged 8–13. Honestly? I wasn’t sure what to expect. What I got were 50 stunning, original stories that completely restored my hope for the storytellers of tomorrow.
So this year… I'm doing it again.
📝 The 2025 Crazy Creatives Writing Competition is officially open!
This year’s theme is Courage. From facing dragons to standing up for a friend, it can be funny, heartfelt, serious or surreal—as long as it’s brave.
And the best part?

Winning stories will be published in a real book.Yes, a proper paperback on Amazon and Kindle. Last year’s edition—50 Short Stories of Hope—even hit the Amazon charts, soaring to 2,445 out of 32.8 million books. That’s the top 0.0075%! Not bad for a bunch of brilliantly bonkers young writers, right?
